As the refugee situation from Syria, Jordan and Iraq reaches a critical point, communities in European Union countries and Turkey are overwhelmed, fences are going up to block the surge and anti-Muslim/immigrant sentiment rise, we are thinking about those left behind – the families who can’t or won’t leave despite the danger and hardships.
