As you may know, all carriers have experienced a higher than usual volume of shipments combined with challenges related to the pandemic. They are doing the best they can, and asking us all to be patient. Below are answers to questions you might have.

Q: Has my order shipped?
A:
 If you received an It's on it's way email with a tracking number from us, then yes! That means your gift has left our studio and is in transit.

Q: What if there are no updates when I track my order?
A: 
Due to the large volume of packages, many are not being scanned as they move from one facility to the next. It doesn't mean your order is lost, just not scanned as often.

Q: Why is my order stuck in a distribution center?
A: 
The good news is you know where it is... but it means the facility is overwhelmed. They've told us to hang tight - your package will be delivered as soon as possible.

Q: Has my gift been delivered?
A:
 All packages are scanned at delivery, so you can click on the tracking number in the It's on it's way email we sent you to check if it has been delivered. It will also tell you where and when.

Q: Why haven't I received an email with tracking?
A:
 Please search your email, including spam. If it's not there, then it may mean that we haven't poured your candle yet. If it has been more than a week since you placed your order, please give us a call at (413) 203-5444.

Q: Will my gift arrive on time?
A: 
We really hope so! The shipping carriers are doing their best to move packages to their destinations in this pandemic time, but tell us to expect delays. It's the same for everyone. 

Q: What if I have a different question?
A: Please email with your order number and question, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

 

Coronavirus

As the U.S. and countries around the world reopen, we all have many questions about how workplaces can be made safe. At Prosperity Candle, we are proud to have been one the first small businesses to submit a detailed plan to our our local health department - and to have implemented every part of that plan. The changes to our studio go well beyond CDC recommendations and include best practices from health experts. Learn more here about our customer care and shipping policies.

From masks, gloves and physical distancing to daily health checks, air filtration units, frequent sanitizing, careful training - and much more - the safety of our candlemakers, their families, and all of our customers is paramount. It takes extra time and effort, but it is what we all must do to navigate our way forward.

If we had our druthers, all shipping would be free all the time! Alas, package deliverers need to earn a living too, and as a small business we don’t get the discounts offered to Amazon and such.

But like you, we also aren’t happy when shipping costs are more than the purchase – no matter how great a product is. We offer a flat-rate matched to your total order – anywhere in the U.S. Which means we limit what you pay, and cover the rest ourselves.

Delivery Time

We do our best to deliver orders on time. Each candle is handpoured to order, and most are ready within 48 hours. But if your order needs to be delivered more quickly, just let us know... if we can pour yours sooner, we will. Simply call or email us at orders@prosperitycandle.com.

In the U.S., we ship by USPS or UPS and delivery is typically within 3-7 days. Every order is individually hand-packed to avoid any slip-ups, but if yours arrives incorrect or damaged, please call or email us right away – we’ll fix it.

Please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic, all shipping carriers are experiencing occasional delays. 

For international orders, we usually ship by USPS which means that once a package is in your country we can’t track it. But we’ve had no problems and most orders arrive within 7-10 days. Please know that any duty, VAT, customs and similar fees are the addressee’s responsibility.

We’re pretty much always making candles, but our studio is closed on national holidays, and from time to time when kids are on vacation or everyone could use an extra day off. Or if the power goes out from a snowstorm, in which case we go home and light lots of candles!

If you are thinking of stopping by the studio, give a call first to make sure we're here. Please also know that while coronavirus remains a concern, we are not inviting guests into the studio... but are happy to come outside for order pickups or just to say hello!

 

Returns & Product Guarantee

We take great pride in the quality of our products, from the ingredients and craftsmanship to packaging and candle performance. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we are happy to provide an exchange or full refund of unused or once-burned candles within 30 days.

To return or exchange an item, please pack it carefully and send it to us along with the packing slip, contact information, problem with the candle, and an indication of what you would like us to do. Return shipping charges are not refundable, but we will provide free shipping for your new selection.
