  • Along the Connecticut River nestled between the mountain ranges of Western Massachusetts, the Pioneer Valley is home to vibrant towns, abundant agriculture, and natural splendor. It is also home to wonderful small-batch products. This gift is perfect for everyone who loves the sweet things in life and handcrafted candles.

    Maple Syrup
Stan Zawalik started boiling maple syrup on his parents’ wood stove at ten years old. Encouraged by his father to sell it at local farmers’ markets, Stan steadily grew his business over the next 40 years in Florence, MA. Today he taps 2,600 trees and boils down the sap to make maple syrup, cream and candies, as well as maple lollipops - an enduring kid favorite at local farmers’ markets.

    Cider Syrup
Carr's Ciderhouse presses their own organic apples on one of the oldest working presses in New England, along the slopes of Mt. Warner in Hadley. We love it for salad dressings, but it's also delicious  in marinades, glazes and pies. Try it with ice cream and soda water, and even in cocktails! Made with Carr's own unique blend of Yarlington Mill, Golden Russet, Kingston Black, Goldrush, and Dabinett apples.

    Coffee Beans
A local favorite, Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee Company located in Orange created a special Pioneer Valley Blend with light-roasted Timor beans mingled with Italian espresso roast to create a hearty yet balanced cup of coffee. Fair trade and organic... plus the only coffee company to win the Oslo Business for Peace Award in recognition of the progressive change that Dean's Beans has fostered throughout the coffeelands of Asia, Africa and the Americas.

    Olive Oil
To protect a family heritage and avert selling their groves in Calabria, Italy to large companies that often dilute pure olive oil with lesser oils, the three cousins of TRE Olive in East Longmeadow joined together to make single estate, extra virgin, cold press olive oils. Absolutely wonderful... taste the difference!

    Tobacco Barn Candle
Inspired by the beautiful, weather-worn tobacco barns that dot our landscape, this candle harks back to a time when tobacco leaf was one of the valley’s most abundant crops. Soy blend candle with a wood wick is handpoured by women refugees who have resettled in the Springfield area. An enticing blend of tobacco leaves and aged cedar with a touch of spice makes this a candle everyone enjoys. Made with essential oils and the purity of no dyes or enhancers.
