On February 24^th the Russian military invaded Ukraine, expanding an 8-year conflict that had already caused many civilian deaths and displaced thousands of families. Within a week 660,000 Ukrainians, mostly women and children, have sought refuge in Poland and elsewhere, aided by volunteers who provide food, water and other humanitarian assistance. Countries in the region are now preparing to receive up to a million more displaced families.

Since 1999 International Medical Corps has delivered medicine, healthcare and lifesaving emergency services in Ukraine. Today they are expanding these services to provide additional help to millions affected by this war.
