Moo Kho to Share Her Story During Upcoming Webcast with UMCOR

On Tuesday, June 19th from 12-12:30, co-founders Siiri and Ted will join UMCOR in a live webcast to speak about supporting the livelihoods of refugee women who have escaped areas of conflict, and about Prosperity Candle’s upcoming work in Haiti. Moo Kho, a refugee from Burma who has worked with Prosperity Candle since 2010, will share her account of life in Burma and her experience as a refugee.
In the spirit of Women’s History Month, our thoughts are drawn to the many women who contribute to society in a myriad of ways while expecting nothing in return. They are hidden from view.Yet these women are transforming communities and making a positive difference in the world. They are unsung heroines.
