Our newest fair trade fashion find? Noonday Collection. They’ve got it all – from jewelry to journals, aprons to belts, and even more! What else could a fashion forward girl ask for?
How about social impact? Each item you buy from Noonday Collection supports the artisans who have poured their time and creativity into your purchases. Noonday Collection features artisans from more than ten different countries, including the United States, Uganda, and India.
In addition to bringing artisan goods to the global market, Noonday Collection is on a mission to create families. If you host a trunk show with Noonday Collection, 10% of sales can be donated to an adoptive family – allowing orphans from around the world to find a home.
It all started just 2 years ago, as founder Jessica Honegger needed to raise funds to adopt her son Jack. She came up with the brilliant idea to host a trunk show in her home. The chic, stylish goods from around the world were a huge hit, and after a lot of fundraising, Jessica and her husband were able to bring Jack home.
Jessica tells us, “I never imagined it would grow into a business.” But when she called her friends in Uganda to tell them she had raised $4000, they convinced her to start Noonday Collection, to provide long-term support to the artisans.
Noonday Collection now provides income for poverty-stricken families and eases the financial difficulties of adopting. Jessica’s small and creative act of love is impacting artisans, children, and families around the world!
Check out a few of our favorite Noonday items below!

This bag is perfect for every occasion! Are you looking for a large purse for everyday use? Or a clutch for an evening out? With the Many Ways Bag, there’s no need to switch out your bags! Transform the Many Ways Bag from a leather purse to a woven ikat clutch or any style you can create!
3. Doreen Colorblock Cuff, $32
Made with love in Uganda, this one-size-fits-all cuff is created out of handmade paper beads in fresh seafoam and coral tones. We think it’d add a great pop of color to a simple white blouse and skinny jeans – even better when paired with the Minted Necklace!

In the spirit of Women’s History Month, our thoughts are drawn to the many women who contribute to society in a myriad of ways while expecting nothing in return. They are hidden from view. Yet these women are transforming communities and making a positive difference in the world. They are unsung heroines.
March is about celebrating women… something we’re pretty excited about. There is so much to appreciate, so many barriers yet to topple, and so many amazing women to recognize for their accomplishments.
Ah, Valentine’s Day. Every year we look forward to it, but here’s the thing. Ever since Eve Ensler started One Billion Rising as part of her V-Day movement to end violence against women and girls, we’ve felt conflicted about this holiday.
