You may have heard: Our team has a goal of selling 4,000 candles by Mother’s Day (May 8th). Why 4,000? Why sell them by Mother’s Day?
Every 10 candles we sell = 1 day’s living wage income for a woman in Iraq. So by selling 4,000 candles by Mother’s Day, we’ll be able to provide women with 400 days living wage income.
We want to sell them by Mother’s Day so we can grow our work and continue to change women’s lives around the world. We have big dreams for the work that we’re doing, but we need to grow our support base and sell more candles for it to happen. Plus, they make perfect Mother-to-Mother gifts. What better way to honor all that your Mom has given you?
THAT’S WHY WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP.
