Our Strategic Partners

Women for Women International

Our first strategic partner is Women for Women International, an inspiring organization founded by Zainab Salbi that helps women survivors of war rebuild their lives in Afghanistan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda and Sudan. Women for Women plays a pivotal role in providing training for entrepreneurs and oversight for the pilot in Iraq. We work closely with their country directors and field personnel, as well as the U.S. office in Washington, DC. We are honored to partner with this exceptional organization and are excited to move forward in partnership to support women’s prosperity through entrepreneurship in some of the toughest places to work throughout the world.

United Methodist Church on Relief (UMCOR)

We are proud to announce our partnership with UMCOR, the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church.  UMCOR is working in more than 80 countries worldwide, including the United States. Their mission is to alleviate human suffering—whether caused by war, conflict or natural disaster, with open hearts and minds to all people.

UMCOR responds to natural or civil disasters that are interruptions of such magnitude that they overwhelm a community’s ability to recover on its own.

In addition to sharing our story with their community and purchasing custom-made UMCOR candles for events and donor gifts, UMCOR is supporting Prosperity Candle to become a fair trade company and a member of Green America. Thank you to June, Judith and Jay for all of your support!
