Prosperity is a mission.

We aim to empower women in places of conflict and distress to start businesses that can generate more than a living wage – that can truly prosper.

To realize this goal, we employ the most effective tools for sustainable impact: a social enterprise and linked non-profit organization. Our nonprofit arm, Prosperity Catalyst, focuses resources from organizations and individuals on helping women in places of conflict and distress. Our business ensures the sustainability of our work, based on a simple model of shared prosperity.

Prosperity Catalyst’s mission is to inspire, educate and support women entrepreneurs in places of conflict and natural disaster around the world. We seek to contribute to a global awakening in which women are recognized and valued as vital, empowered participants in creating the foundation for peaceful and prosperous societies.

Through Prosperity Catalyst’s activities we will empower women as entrepreneurs, facilitate business and entrepreneurship education, assist women-owned enterprises by offering candle-making business kits, training and other forms of support, help candle makers graduate from home-based production to grow their businesses, and implement youth entrepreneurship programs that will inspire the next generation of women entrepreneurs and community leaders.

Prosperity Catalyst is currently seeking funding to launch its operations in Haiti to support women’s entrepreneurship and job creation for women in Northern Haiti. Prosperity Catalyst will be partnering closely with Prosperity Candle L3C to ensure long-term sustainability for its efforts.
